After marrying Kent McLaren (Highland High ‘68) teaching school, having a couple of darling daughters and moving to Park City for a bit, we packed up a U-haul truck and moved to Laguna Niguel, CA. That is where we have been since. (35 years almost makes us natives by CA standards). After a hiatus of 12 years, I re-entered the teaching profession where I happily labored until last year. Upon retirement, Kent and I were fortunate enough to take three big trips and really “made tracks” to some very special places around the world. This year we have been content to stay closer to home, pay the bills and spend time with our family - including our four precious to us grandchildren. Yay for grandkids!!! :)

Happy birthday to my sweet friend Janet! Your yearbook picture is exactly how I remember you. Except it doesn’t do justice to your very long eyelashes. I am so happy to see on social media how active and vibrant you still are. Skiing, playing golf, snowmobiling etc. You have carried on your family tradition and look terrific while doing so. Yes....You do look the very same in the Facebook post I saw this morning! (Just a different hair style). It will be really fun to see you again and reminisce about the old neighborhood. I hope that Laura is coming. :)
