In 2018 my beloved husband Kent passed away. With some help from Mike Tingey and Diane Rogers Sorensen, met up with Craig Smith again and got married in February 2022. We are currently serving as missionaries in New Zealand. Craig works as a therapist counseling all the missionaries in the Pacific Area who are struggling with mental health issues. I am the coordinator for the International Teacher Education Program. I coordinate the teacher training program for the 15 Pacific Island schools. We are having a blast! But miss our 29 grandchildren!

Got to teach at Jordan School District, BYU, Utah State, UVU, Salt Lake Community College, and U. of U. Worked as a curriculum specialist for the Utah State Office of Education and Jordan School District.
Retirement is the best—lots of time for grandchildren, traveling, golfing, quilting, and watercolors!

Dawnell, do you remember getting out of Mr. Workman’s big Model UN test by having a “legitimate” excuse and going to your house to have toast and bananas? My very favorite school memory along with all the crazy things Partenheimer thought up!!!
