Stanley Owen Patterson, born December 18, 1950 to RD and Ona Patterson, succumbed to cancer September 13th, at home in Apopka, FL.Husband to Collette Maxwell; father of twin sons, Sean Eric and Jon Michael, divorced. Married Carol George, 2000.
Preceded in death by sister, Bunny; father; and grandparents. He is survived by twin sons; wife; mother; brothers, Val Patterson (Mary Jane) and Don Patterson.
Employment, National Guard, Gordon Wilson Chevrolet, L.E. Meyers and ARMCO, Saudi Arabia, and TSS.

Stan was a good friend of mine and I only recently learned of his passing in 2007. Through my friendship with Stan I met and fell in love with his younger sister Gwen (Bunny) Patterson when I was a sophmore. We went "steady" that year... we were so young. Gwen died in a car accident October 13th, 1968. It was one of the worst times in my life and I think about her every year when October rolls around. It's been fifty-two years since she passed and it's still bitterly sad. Stan and her father are buried next to her. RIP Stan and Bunny.
