 Herbert Hart Halliday

Our beloved son, father, and grandfather passed away quietly at CareSource Hospice in Millcreek, Utah due to cancer. He resided at 1435 East Lexington Drive (11020 South) in Sandy, Utah at the time of his death.
He has left a legacy of determination, hard work, and a love for family and friends. Hart had a happy childhood. He and his parents, Herbert and Gloria fully enjoyed life. He served a mission for the LDS Church to Australia.
Afterwards he attended BYU. where he met and married Michele Runner. His only son, Brandon was born to them. They were later divorced. Married Ingrid Evjen and later divorced. Hart graduated from Westminster College with a degree in Accounting. Real estate was his primary vocation but he experienced owning and operating restaurants, dry cleaners, restoring, and selling antique trains through Hart's Hobby Shoppe and "playing the stock market." 
He excelled in whatever he tried. Interests involved horses, sports cars, golfing, oil painting and animals. He resided in Sandy, Utah, Oregon, Idaho, Texas, and Logan, UT. Logan was his favorite place to live, where he enjoyed having several horses, including Sheba, an Arabian horse, and a lovely home. 
Survivors include a son, Brandon, wife Melissa, and three grandsons; Adam, Branson and Cory born only days ago. Parents: Herbert and Gloria Halliday, brother, Greg; sisters; Laura (Lloyd) Willardson; Teresa (Coy) Clawson; Heather (Gary) Alger; and 12 nieces and nephews.
