In Memory

Madelyne O'Leary (Neville)

Madelyne O'Leary (Neville)

Madelyne O'Leary Neville "The tenacious rose" Madelyne Neville, my beloved wife and the mother of our four children passed away June 24th, 2006, with her husband and her children at her side. Madelyne was born May 1, 1951 in Salt Lake City to Jeff and Marlyn O'Leary. She graduated from the University of Utah with a BS in Psychology in 1976.

She began a career in employment management for the State of Utah, and worked her way to employment specialist manager after fulfilling several different positions for Job Service. Madelyne set aside her career in 1990 to raise her family which had grown to three active boys and a girl. She taught her children well as they blossomed into incredible, independent people. Madelyne was an avid naturalist and reader, and her knowledge of government, religion and her stands on society were a huge inspiration to all of us. May our every breath, every smile and every season be a loving tribute to the memory of her perfect and immortal soul. Madelyne is survived by her husband John, mother Marlyn, daughter Rebecca, sons Aaron, JJ and Jefferson, brothers Bryan and Daniel, sister Kathleen and four grandchildren. She fought her battle against cancer on her own terms.
