In Memory

Mark R. Castleton

Mark R. Castleton

Mark Rynders Castleton Sept. 2, 1951 ~ Aug. 18, 2016 Mark was born in Provo, Utah to Richard L. Castleton and Jean Fullmer Castleton. Known to his loved ones as Spartacus, Mark was a compassionate, caring, and loving person. He spent his early years growing up in Salt Lake City where he graduated Skyline High School. Later he worked to build the family farm business in Nevada which remains today. He then settled in Saint George, working as an electrician until his retirement and passing. Marks ingenuity & work ethic was appreciated by many. His great sense of humor and infectious laugh radiated his personality. He enjoyed music, playing the guitar, and most of all, being in the park with his dog, Kallie. He will be greatly missed by: his three children, Heather (Chris) Sans, Joey (Alicia) Castleton, and Betsy Jean Castleton; 4 Grandchildren; 1 Great-Grandchild, and his best friend, Kallie; his father and siblings Stephen (Donna), Gary, Roger, Scott (Melanie), Suzanne Gersch (Doug), and Becky Shortell (Donald). Mark was preceded in death by his loving mother, Jean. Time spent at the family cabin in Fish Lake were some of his most treasured memories and where his ashes will be spread. We will miss you very much and the world will never be the same.
