Being a part of the class of 1969 was the best. My years at Skyline were filled with so many wonderful friends, activities, and experiences.
I was spoiled to have some of the best of the best for friends! Many of us have remained friends and have shared good times and hard times.
Losing Mardee Jane Bohling (Wise) two years ago this June, has been one of the hardest things. We were soul mates and connected in everything we did. We never, ever had a disagreement. Just the best of friends forever!
I finished my bachelor's degree in Nursing at BYU in 1973. Married the love of my life in 1974 and began a wonderful journey of being a mother in the fall of 1975. Have 2 boys and 4 girls. Our last two were twin daughters. What a ride. That is where my heart has been. I worked as an RN in emergency clinic settings and loved that too. We have 13 grand-children...four little baby girls just arrived during the past year. Pretty special.
We live on 5 acres in North Ogden. On part of our property we have over 600 peach trees, 20 apple trees, some pear trees, apricot trees and plum trees. We can always be found outside enjoying the dirt. (I married a guy from Idaho, so he is an expert when it comes to dirt.).
I serve in the Ogden Utah temple two early mornings each week and love it. Hoping to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints sometime too.
