Jan Kellie Denlinger

DEATH: JAN "KELLIE" DENLINGER SCHULTE

Our loving daughter, sister, wife and mom, Jan "Kellie" Denlinger Schulte, lost her long and courageous struggle against diabetes June 18, 1990.

Born Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 1950 to Dona Bush Denlinger and John Denlinger. Graduated from Skyline High School, June 1969. Married Mel Schulte, June 20, 1970.She worked at Rex Industries several years. Owner of Snowland Kennels, home of champion Alaskan Malamutes. One of the founding members of the Bonneville Basin Kennel Club. For many years she enjoyed participating in American Kennel Club events throughout the western states. Any stray or needy animal who happened to cross her path was indeed lucky. Night or day she nursed the injured, fed the hungry, found a caring home for any stray, always taking the time and energy to provide whatever was needed for any and all little animals. Her quick wit and delightful sense of humor will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Jan ("Kellie") leaves behind, her son, Dan, and her daughter, Kellyann, who were the high points of her life. Also missing her will be, her husband, Mel; mother, Dona Bush; father and stepmother, John and LaVoyle Denlinger; sisters, Cyd Denlinger and Reva (Mrs. Brent) Holding; and her special friend, Rod Johnson. Aunt "Kellie" will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews. In death she rejoins her infant son, Justin; brother, Matt Denlinger; step-brothers, Jack Crow and Lorry Crow; and her step-mother, Reva Denlinger.

Kellie requested, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory, to KELLIE'S MEMORIAL FUND FOR SEEING EYE DOG, c/o DIABETES ASSOCIATION OF UTAH, 643 East 400 South, Salt Lake City, Utah 84102. This fund will purchase a guide dog for a diabetic person.
