Janine Sheffield (Warner)

Janine Sheffield (Warner)

4/12/1951 - 11/11/2012
Janine Sheffield Warner, our sweet loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend died November 11, 2012 surrounded by family and friends after a long hard struggle with cancer. Born April 12, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Lathair B. "Tee" and Juanita H. Sheffield. Janine grew up in the Holliday area and graduated from Skyline High. She married Ricky Hughes Warner on December 6, 1970, marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. They raised four children together and her family was the most important thing in her life. Janine's greatest joys were her children and grandchildren. Rain or shine, she was always on the sidelines, on or off the field supporting each one of us.
Janine was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings including Stake camp director, Ward secretary, and Temple worker. Janine loved arts and crafts of all kinds, particularly cross stitching, ceramics, and oil painting and was always willing to teach others what she knew.
Janine is survived by her loving husband Rick, sons Mark (Krissy) and Sgt. J. Daniel (Lisa); daughters Wendy (Nate) Stout and Jennifer (Byron) West; 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her parents, her brothers Larry (Emily) Sheffield, David (Linette) Sheffield, and Douglas (Liz) Sheffield, her sisters DeeAnne (Randy) Garcia, Sherry (Steve) Vincent, and Shelly (Brad) Bourne, as well as her amazing extended family and a whole lot of friends. She will be missed every single day.
In lieu of flowers Janine asked that donations be made to Wendy Stout (daughter) who is in the hospital for a bone marrow transplant from her sister Jenn. Donations can be made at any Wells Fargo Bank in Rick Warner's name.
