Michael Frank Quist(1950 - 2016) Michael Frank Quist, born 28 Dec 1950 to Frank Tolfver Quist and Ivy Mae Wagstaff, died peacefully at home on 28 Jun 2016 after a patient 10-year struggle with Frontotemporal Lobe Degeneration. He worked tirelessly throughout his life to provide for his family and serve those around him. He served a faithful LDS mission to New Zealand. Later, he was married in the Jordan River Temple on 1 Dec 1982 to Mary Halls. He is survived by his wife and three children: Rebecca (Jeff, and children Sophie and Katelyn), Michael (Beth), and Marinda. Mike is remembered for his selfless service, his hardworking attitude, and especially his faith in Jesus Christ. He was a humble man who found joy in taking every opportunity to hike in the mountains he loved. His family warmly thanks the family and friends who have generously supported Mike and his family; the wonderful staff of Brightwork Cottage; and Chantelle and Levy from Summit Hospice. The funeral services will be Saturday, 2 July 2016 at 11:00am at the Holladay 4th Ward, 4917 South Viewmont Street. Friends and family are invited to visit Friday evening 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church Saturday morning 9:30 to 10:30am prior to the service.
