Few people have had such a profound positive influence on the world as Brent. With a caring, sensitive, unselfish nature, and sense of humor, his entire career was devoted to serving people with disabilities.

Brent enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid cyclist, hiker and animal lover. A talented drummer, he loved rock 'n roll, travel and especially movies. Hobbies demonstrated his artistic talents through stained glass, woodworking, drawing and photography.

Brent's devotion to his aging parents and unconditional love for his family was remarkable. Words cannot express the family's love and devotion for this incredibly great man.

I treasure fond memories of Brent as a sensitive, smart guy with a warm smile and quirky sense of humor. He invited me to his house once after school, where we listened to rock and roll records and he beamed as he said, "You have not heard of Jimmy Hendrix? He could be the greatest guitar player yet". Music filled him with joy, especially in that expansive moment, which is why I recall it so clearly. I was shocked and terribly sad to learn he was gone, way way too soon.
