John Taylor Hyde Jr. passed away Thursday, July 12, 2001, at the age of 50, from natural causes.

Born March 26, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Mary Clyde and John Taylor Hyde Sr. He graduated from Skyline High School. Married Cheri Ball; later divorced. Married Heidi Theobold; later divorced. John was an avid racer of cars and boats. He loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He was very dedicated to his work and was very successful in the automotive industry. John was a kid at heart with a great spirit that drew children to him.

John is survived by his father, John Taylor Hyde Sr; children, John Trenton Hyde, Lisa Lynn Hyde, Taylor John Hyde, Cali Renae Hyde; grandchildren, Corbin Trent Hyde, Shauntell Lynn Hyde; brothers, Robert C. (Cindy), David O. (Kristie), Jeffrey S. (Angela); sisters, Julie Ann (Mark) Terry, Mary Jane (Clark) McIntosh and Karen Hyde; his special companion, Jennifer Randall and her two children, Jordan and Chantel Griffith; also many nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by his mother, Mary C. Hyde.

John will be thought of often and greatly missed. At John's request, his body was cremated.
